Mrs. Demetrius Alexander was born and raised in Washington, D.C. She has served as an educator, advocate, and leader for more than 18 years. In addition to being a proud wife, she is also the mother of two young adults who have recently graduated from college. During her spare time, Demetrius enjoys spending time with her family, expanding her clothing line, and researching new recipes.
Having worked with children and families for many years, Mrs. Alexander understands the importance of advocacy, inclusive practices, systemic structures, and achieving equality for all. Her specializations include special education, early literacy, trauma-informed practices, and strategic planning. Demetrius is a leader in education and is committed to building equitable education systems through partnerships, collaborations, and collaborations.
